Please join us for this once in a lifetime event from 11 am until 3 pm at the Paul Wightman Subterranean Nature Preserve where you will be seated in a field of wildflowers. The Preserve, located at 3255 G Road, Fults, IL is very near the maximum time for the total eclipse. Dr. Michael J. Krawczynski, assistant professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, will be on hand to guide us through the eclipse. Also scheduled to present is the Rev. Sheldon Culver, who will discuss the spiritual side of the event. Music will be provided by fiddle player, Jerry Wiley. Numbers are limited to 200. Bring a picnic lunch, lawn chair and an umbrella to shield you from the rays of the August sun. Water and viewing glasses will be provided. Each ticket will contain a short insurance waiver of liability, which must be signed and presented at the gate on August 21.
