The Miller-Fiege Family Home

Built in 1850, this historic home is a unique example of a brick one-story vernacular German cottage on a limestone foundation, once the most common style of housing in this part of the Midwest. The home is being restored by members of the Columbia Heritage & Preservation Commission (CHPC) and features furniture and memorabilia from the Miller and Fiege families who owned it for nearly 150 years.
