This is a cozy bed and breakfast full of history and charm in Plantation Country. The Cajun country cottages provide a perfect place to relax and experience peaceful Southern living!
The Cajun Village Cottages include eight Acadian-style shotgun houses dating back to around 1900. They were found and saved from a historic area of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana, known as Spanish Town, and moved to their serene surroundings in Sorrento, Louisiana.

Later, guests can return for a homemade hot lunch or to try a variety of favorite recipes of the area. The Coffee House is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
At The Cajun Village, our guests can enjoy browsing a variety of shops that now occupy the historic and restored Acadian-style homes that comprise the village.

Al and Theresa Robert have collected and preserved buildings from River Road and nearby communities for more than 40 years. Al uses his passion to create successful businesses with local flavor in the restored historical buildings while Theresa adds the finishing touches. Many of these historical treasures were saved from demolition. The greenest building is one that is preserved and does not have to be sent to a landfill.
