The Cabin at Bellewoode is a perfect “get-away” location for a renting a relaxing weekend or a longer stay. Call or email to make reservations.
The Cabin at Bellewood is a rustic, fully accommodated cabin located on a wooded site overlooking a five-acre lake. The land was part of an original grant to our family in 1856.
With the ambiance of a lodge, Bellewoode is more than a cabin. The downstairs living area is completely open with a large fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, bath with shower, view of the lake, all furnished with antiques. The cabin has all modern conveniences with a rustic country atmosphere. You will enjoy our non-smoking environment.
The upstairs has two bedrooms separated by a half-bath, nicely accommodating four adults. There is also a sleeping-sofa for two people. The large open space of the main floor provides ample room for a game corner, TV area, dining area and communal gatherings. The Cabin is a great place for retreats, receptions, and family vacations. For entertainment, the Cabin has a large screen TV with satellite connection. For your privacy, we do not have a telephone connection so you may relax with no interruptions.
The cabin was built in 2000 using salvaged as well as new material. It is furnished with antiques and collectibles, pictures and artifacts of our family and historical Hickman County and from our many years of traveling the world.
