Thaxton Speakeasy is a downtown underground lounge, located in the bowels of the historic Thaxton Building. This lounge offers the full range of Prohibition era gin joint, including live music and swing dancing as well as a modern day lounge with DJs.

Thaxton Speakeasy is owned and operated by St. Louis locals Kim Pitliangas and Peter Venezia. Kim's father, Mark Pitliangas, is the owner, visionary, and renovator of The Thaxton Building. Along with several other buildings along Olive Street. And has been a major player in the revitaliziation of downtown St. Louis.
Accessibility Notes
wheel chair accessible - through the front door and then passenger elevator to the Speakeasy. The alley entrance has a a curb (and doorman to help) and can then descend to in the freight elevator
