St. Joseph Co-Cathedral

This beautiful church of Renaissance Romanesque design is patterned after churches in Paris and Rome. Its stained glass windows and ceiling paintings are considered to be masterpieces. The splendid Rose Window is modeled after that in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. The three altars, those of St. Joseph, the Blessed Mother, and the main altar are constructed of French and Italian marble. The main altar base and septs are gold-veined Egyptian marble. This magnificient structure contains unique and interesting artifacts which tell of the rich heritage of the people and the parish.
