Ross' Restaurant

Ross' Restaurant is a Quad Cities tradition founded in 1938 by Harold Ross.  Harold grew up an Iowa native, fell in love with the restaurant business before enlisting in the Navy and serving overseas.  While away, he dreamed of starting his own restaurant where his customers would feel "at home."  He was able to make his version of the American Dream a reality, a local landmark faithfully serving its' community for 75 years.  Ross' is currently a fourth generation family business and still locally owned.  From a great local Iowa breakfast with local cage free eggs and all natural bacon and sausage sourced in Iowa, along with our famous homemade cinnamon rolls, to one of our most popular dishes, the Magic Mountain, along with homemade soups and hamburger buns, Ross' is a local landmark that is a must stop when visiting the Quad Cities.  Ross' was recently featured in the USA today as one of Alton Brown's top ten places to visit while on his nationwide tour this year.

Family and Kid-Friendly Dining Notes

Ross' Restaurant has a great kid's menu and serves breakfast all day.  We have many healthy options for children, fresh fruit, etc.  The atmosphere is very kid friendly and Ross' is a member of the Family Friendly Breastfeeding Network, Quad Cities Breastfeeding Coalition. Eco-Friendly Notes

We are proud to source many of our products locally and regionally: our eggs are all from Iowa farms and our breakfast sausage and bacon is all natural and nitrate free from Iowa as well.  We source seasonal produce locally and our bison, cheese, and even kombucha is sourced regionally.  We recycle cardboard, plastic, paper and glass as well as our discarded fryer oil.

Ross' is as local as they come, and truly embodies the story of the "American Dream".  Now a fourth generation family owned restaurant, Ross' was the recipient of the "America's Best Restaurant Family" award in 2014, a national contest recognizing family owned restaurants.
