Eco-Friendly Notes

Rooster is a 5-star certified Green Dining Alliance member--an organization run by St. Louis Earth Day. Rooster utilizes from-scratch, bulk foods made at the Baileys' commissary, hugely cutting back on their waste and costs. All breads are baked fresh at the commissary with unbleached flour, and you'll always find gluten-free and vegan options. They serve 100% grass-fed Missouri beef and pork, and Kaldi's Fair Trade, certified-organic coffee. Drop in for crepes, breakfast spreads, and toasty sandwiches.

Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

St. Louis native Dave Bailey began the Baileys’ family of restaurants in 2004 with the opening of his first restaurant, Baileys’ Chocolate Bar, in beautiful and historic Lafayette Square. Everything was done by hand and made from scratch, which is a continuing tradition. Since then, he has added Rooster, Bridge Tap House, Baileys’ Range, The Fifth Wheel @ 4Hands, The Fifth Wheel Catering, and Small Batch, as well the newest location of Rooster on South Grand Blvd.

Baileys’ Restaurants is a St. Louis-centric company, employing more than 320 people and serving more than 500,000 customers each year. Not only are all of the Baileys' restaurants in the City of St. Louis, nearly all of the staff live and work here, furthering the dedication to this great city.
