Roberto's River Road Restaurant offers a unique setting on River Road in a building (circa 1840s/50s) that originally housed the Golden Gate Plantation commissary. Roberto's menu reflects the region by featuring seafood as well as duck, pork, steaks and chicken freshly prepared in creole style. Their clientele is made up of people from all demographics. At lunch many of their patrons are associated with the area industries. The dinner crowd comes predominantly from Baton Rouge, but there are many regulars from St. Francisville to New Orleans.
Additionally, Roberto's has a full bar and a wide selection of wines.
They do offer a wine special, 40% off all wines by the glass and bottle on Tuesday and Wednesday Nights.
