Riverside International Friendship Gardens

The Riverside International Friendship Gardens celebrate the sister-city relationships between La Crosse Wi, and its sister cities in China, Germany, Norway, France, Russia and Ireland. The gardens are open all day every day and no admission is charged to enter. They are located at the north end of Riverside Park in La Crosse, located along the Mississippi, Black and La Crosse Rivers.  Each individual garden features a theme that honors one of the countries named above, and the gardens include numerous interesting plants, water features and public art. The gardens are appropriate for families and people of all ages and abilities, and are linked to the La Crosse River trail, which winds along the La Crosse River.

The gardens are largely maintained by volunteers, and were developed by three partners: the City of La Crosse, Riverside International Friendship Gardens, a non-profit; and the Bluff Country Master Gardeners.
