This event is held every Saturday night from 6 PM to 7:30 PM in the historic Liberty Theater in Eunice, LA. The City of Eunice and the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve host this live Radio show that features Cajun bands, along with Creole, Zydeco, Folk and Swamp Pop music, in the format of the Louisiana Hayride program, the Grand Old Opry and Prairie Home Companion shows.
Every week, the emcee interviews musicians between songs, giving the audience insight into the history of the music and culture of South Louisiana. Cajun French is the language spoken (with enough English thrown in so everyone can enjoy the show). A dance floor in front of the stage allows the audience to practice their two-step. This family-friendly show is alcohol and smoke free and attracts people of all ages.
