Recreational Opportunities

Visitors looking for outdoor recreation may enjoy the 1.4-mile limestone running trail, which loops through the Old Forest.  The forest itself contains two miles of paved roads and 4.5 miles of dirt trails for walking and contemplating nature.

The 9-hole golf course stays open year-round, and the Greensward is a great place to play Frisbee or fly a kite.

Seasons Accessible

Overton Park is accessible in all four seasons.

There are no fees to use the park; each cultural attraction has its own admission fees.

Pet Friendly Notes

Dogs are welcome at Overton Park!  A 1.3-acre fenced dog park called Overton Bark allows for off-leash recreation.  Dogs must be leashed in all other areas of the park.
