Located in the 5,000-square-foot former Singleton Lumber building is the NUNU Arts and Culture Collective. Locals gather here for weekly events among the works of both accomplished and emerging artists. Expect to be graciously welcomed by fluent French speakers, hear performances by celebrated Cajun and Creole musicians and enjoy area specific dishes. It is the site of a nascent French language and culture immersion center, recently partnered with Tulane, Louisiana State and Louisiana State at Lafayette universities.
