The annual Fall Festival is held the first Saturday in October, in conjunction with the Bass Pro Shop's Big Cat Quest Tournament. The autumn beauty of southeast Missouri is on display, as Main Street is decorated with corn stalks, scarecrows, mums, and pumpkins. Some of the activities include a free youth fishing rodeo, beauty pageant, car show, craft and food vendors, petting zoo, wagon rides, inflatables, live music, and of course the catfish tournament weigh-in. Our 2015 Festival will include a Civil War encampment, Garrisoning New Madrid, which will depict the life of the soldiers in New Madrid at Fort Bankhead. The Fall Festival is fun for the entire family. Activities run from 9 am until 4 pm.
