National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is the only interpretive center for the entire Mississippi River. Visitors can take an entertaining and informative journey on the Mighty Mississippi; enjoy dynamic aquariums, historical exhibits, and stroll through the wetlands and boatyard. Meet live critters in touch tanks or during our animal programs. Explore hands-on, water-based activities in our RiverWorks play area. Discover the history, culture, and artifacts of diverse river people. Immerse yourself in a 3D/4D theater experience. Step back in time aboard the National Historic landmark William M. Our 10-acre campus is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Elevator access to upper building floors. Due to the historic nature of the site, stroller and wheelchair access on the William M. Black is limited.
