Some of the best views of the Mississippi River can be enjoyed from the bluffs at Natchez, especially Bluff Park anchored at the West end of downtown Natchez. Viewers can position themselves nearly anywhere along the fenceline of the bluff and see almost 20 miles either up or down the Mississippi River, and an equal distance into neighboring Louisiana. There are benches positioned along the double-wide walkway from which to enjoy sunsets on the river, or perhaps have a nice picnic lunch when the weather is nice.
All of the Bluff Park is handicap accesible with the exception of the Gazebo, and the walkway is sufficient enough for walkers, runners and cyclists
Pet Friendly Notes
Dogs may be walked anywhere in bluff park, but a leash law is in affect and we do ask that pet owners properly dispose of any pet droppings.
