The Muscatine County Environmental Learning Center provides opportunities to experience nature up close through a variety of educational displays. The Environmental Learning Center is the focal point for studies in nature appreciation and conservation management practices.
The Environmental Learning Center hosts a permanent exhibit showing how Iowa's landscape has changed since settlement times and how that has affected our wildlife. The Environmental Learning Center also houses temporary nature exhibits, over 100 mounted animals, live reptile and amphibian displays, an outdoor raptor enclosure, and the Muscatine County Conservation Board offices.

Free Admission. Donations Appreciated. Some special programs or camps may have fees.
The Environmental Learning Center was constructed with many energy efficient elements such as foam block insulated walls, geothermal heating and cooling, and recycled content carpeting.
The Environmental Learning Center's naturalists provide a wide range of environmental education programs to people of all ages.
The Environmental Learning Center is ADA compliant.
