Martin's at Midtown

Locally owned and operated Martin’s at Midtown is located in an older section of Vicksburg known as Midtown. Just blocks away from the original downtown area, Midtown is what was then the suburbs at the turn of the 20th century. The 1890s farm house building has red heart pine floors, 12' ceilings, and an eclectic mix of decor in the various dining rooms. Local artwork hangs on the walls and family antiques decorate the dining rooms.

The menu features specialty sandwiches, many served hot and pressed. Crisp salads with a variety of meats and cheeses as well as vegetable combinations are available. House made soups from uniquely crafted recipes provide a perfect balance to meals. A varying menu of delicious sweets will complete your meal. Evening meals are augmented with international and regional comfort foods in seasonally changing menu offerings. Lisa and John Martin operate the restaurant with a family friendly environment where no one is allowed to leave a stranger.

While young professionals frequent the establishment; the generational friendly venue finds diners of all ages occupying the tables in the dining rooms, on the porch, and out on the deck. The extensive deck and large porch are available to provide a wonderful al fresco dining experience virtually year round..

While the menu is best described as gourmet sandwich shop; an extensive craft beer selection featuring local and regional brewery offerings is available.  Tuesday is Beer Geek Night.   Wine tasting sessions happen on Thursday evening to facilitate sampling the ever changing large selection of wines.
