M & M Greenwell Furniture Makers

Our  custom furniture making shop  has been in Clarksville MO for 26 years.  The shop produces not only custom furniture but repairs fine antiques and makes parts for them. .  The lathe used in the shop Mikes grandfather bought new in 1937 ( he still has the receipts) as he does all the turning of legs, knobs, Christmas ornaments or anything we need turned.  We make moldings to match what ever is needed.  We do hand work as well as machined.   We do repair carving and I do carve some small things when I am not working on furniture.  Chair caning and weaving is also offered.   Most of the downtown buildings (we are small) that have been restored have been done in this shop.  We make doors and  windows, storefronts and interiors.   We have furniture and small items all over the US and in a few countries. Come by and visit this great woodworking shop.   We have people that come back just to smell the shop or to see the dogs or just to say hello.

Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

Greenwells, owned by Mike and Margie Greenwell  is a third generation cabinet makers shop and  has been in Clarksville since 1989.  We work with many clients in a wide range of pieces from complete libraries or kitchens to small items and everything in between.  We draw all of our own plans and do most designing for our clients.  Some of our clients just tell us what the piece will be used for and we do the rest.

Accessibility Notes

There are two steps into our shop.  One larger, one smaller.

Pet Friendly Notes

We have 2 German Shorthair Pointers in our shop.  Zelda who is very smart , a good bird dog and very sociable and then there is  Gus who is afraid of people but is also a good bird dog..  We don't know why he is afraid but he is.  But Clarksville is a pet friendly place and some of the other shops have pets also.
