Hawn State Park

Just 15 minutes west of Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County, Hawn State Park is consistently one of the highest rated Missouri state parks for hiking, camping, picnicking and outdoor experiences. The nearly 5,000-acre park features beautifully manicured areas for day use and tent or RV camping. Trails range in length from short meanders to ten mile loops.

Pine forests, clear streams, high bluffs overlooking mixed hardwoods and pines and shady picnic areas make this park a favorite for all ages and abilities. Spring and summer bring flowering dogwood and redbud trees along with numerous types of wildflowers. Fall is especially colorful with the hardwoods in their full autumn glory. Maps are available for visitors for hiking the many trails.
