Green Coulee Park is 67 acres and consists of hiking trails that run from the wetlands area at the lower end of the park through areas of oak savanna to the rock quarry at the summit of the bluff that overlooks a portion of Onalaska. View a map of the park here.

Recreational Opportunities

Lace up those hiking boots in summer or rent some snowshoes in winter. Either way, you'll enjoy Green Coulee in all the seasons Wisconsin has to offer!

Enjoy the various picnic tables throughout the park to sit and relax or keep trekking up the bluff and on different paths Green Coulee has to offer!

Green Coulee is accessible all year round! During deer hunting season, the park is closed. Please visit for more information.

Strollers can be used in the park, although may be difficult. Path is wide, but can be rough. Use your own discretion.
