Great Rivers Greenway District

Great Rivers Greenway District builds, promotes and sustains greenways that connect communities to their rivers, parks and each other, improving quality of life for all.

This regional tax district was created by a vote of the people in  the year 2000 and spans the 1,200 square miles of St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County.

Residents of the St. Louis region invest in, enjoy and care for the best network of greenways in the country, the 600-mile River Ring. We live life outside!
