Great River Shakespeare Festival

The Great River Shakespeare Festival makes its home in beautiful, historic Winona, MN. GRSF is a professional Equity, non-profit theater Company committed to creating dynamic, clearly spoken productions of Shakespeare's plays which enrich people's lives.  Each summer, artists from all over the country gather in Winona to produce powerful productions of the plays of Shakespeare and other playwrights.  The GRSF season also features free concerts and events, extensive educational programs, and comprehensive, world class theater training.

Season 13 at GRSF brings three professional productions to the stage: the comic romp As You Like It, fast-paced thrilled Julius Caesar, and the new musical Georama, about the life and work of American artist John Banvard and the incredible scope of his work painting a moving panorama of the Mississippi River. The season also features the Intern/Apprentice production of Coriolanus, as well as educational and recreational opportunities for every age all summer long.
