This is a beautiful natural area recently obtained by Missouri Conservation Department. They have done an excellent job on providing access for viewing activities. There are viewing platforms for and informational stations that relay wildlife activity. Hiking is available and easy due to lack of inclines. Lots of easy biking/walking/hiking paths, boating, fishing and hunting available during season.
Great place for sunset drives, as the open views and water displays sunsets beautifully. There is a huge amount of wildlife viewing, as the birds are abundant.
