Bowie’s Tavern is located in the heart of the Historic District in Downtown Natchez. Overlooking the Mississippi River, Bowie’s was originally a cotton warehouse. The Tavern has become a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
Bowie’s is home to a unique, beautiful mahogany bar (circa 1880) that was once referred to as “the largest bar West of the Mississippi” and was signed by Kit Carson. Bowie’s also boasts the largest selection of domestic and imported beers in the region and amazing food grilled on site.
In addition to the bar, Bowie’s Tavern has six guest rooms and a banquet facility perfect for rehearsal dinners and private meetings.
