Serving visitors to the Headwaters of the Mississippi River for 77 years, Bert's Cabins is a family resort located at Itasca State Park just a mile from the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. The scenic, tall, red pines in the wilderness, provides a peaceful, relaxing setting for the cabins. The cabins are all modern housekeeping with full kitchens, knotty pine interior and exterior plus air-conditioning and wireless internet. Deluxe cabins also have screen porches and wood burning fireplaces. On site there is a heated outdoor pool, along with bird watching, hiking trails, and direct access to Itasca's bike trail.
Bert's Cabins is a adjacent to Itasca State Park, which features many scenic and historic sites including: the Headwaters of the Mississippi River, water fun--canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, excursing boat tours on Lake Itasca, nature programs, gift shops and restaurants, and geocaching. Also, a guide service available for canoeing the Mississippi River.
