The Arkansas Welcome Center in Helena-West Helena is a 3,500-square-foot facility offering visitors up-to-the minute information on attractions, regional events, and weather conditions. The building, Informal Italianate in design, offers travelers access to computer kiosks, WiFi, and fresh coffee. The landscaped exterior offers picnic tables for those wishing to take a short break from the road.
Thirteen Arkansas Welcome Centers are located at strategic points of entry to the state. An additional Welcome Center, housed in the central office in Little Rock, serves the dual purpose of being the reception area for the department as well as a centrally-located center.
