Come to the Fort de Chartres State Historic Site for one of the oldest and largest rendezvous in the Midwest.
The Annual Fort de Chartres Rendezvous features over a thousand reenactors, traders, and craftspeople demonstrating 18th and early 19th century life. Stroll through the camps and enjoy crafts, music, entertainment, food, military demonstrations, and shooting matches.
The event runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days.

Even is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. $5 parking fee per day.

This is a family friendly event open to all ages
Handicapped parking is available, along with a gravel path from the parking lot into and along the inside of the Fort. The Site's museum and restrooms are wheelchair accessible via a ramp in back.
Pet Friendly Notes
Pets on a 10 foot leash and service animals are welcome anywhere on site including the grounds, inside the museum, and in the reconstructed buildings.
