Zebulon Pike Lake (reservoir)

The Zebulon Pike Lake Reservoir is 8 miles of boatable Mississippi River reservoir between the Little Falls Dam on the north and the Blanchard Dam on the south. The Blanchard Dam is north of Morrison County Road 26 between Royalton and Bowlus, MN. There is boat launch access at Blanchard Landing on the east side of the river just north of the the dam and at Pike Creek just south of Charles Lindbergh State Park on the west side of the river.

Recreational Opportunities

Zebulon Pike Lake has a great assortment of fish for the catching: catfish, walleye, small mouth bass, northern pike, panfish.

Cross Rocks, also known at "fairy crosses" and actually staurolites, can be found in the shallow waters at the dam. Take Hilton Road (approximately 8.6 miles on the east side of the river from Little Falls) to 68th Street (take path at the Dead End road).
