Exploring the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife & Fish Refuge

This Refuge is 261 miles long and it cannot be explored in one day. Starting at the Visitor Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin and ending at a Minnesota river overlook allows you to see a migration sensation. The trip must be taken in late October through mid-November to see tundra swan migration.
