Eco-Friendly Notes

The natural area includes about 10,900 acres of open water and marshes, and about 7,100 acres of bottom-land hardwood forests and cypress-dominated bottoms and sloughs. Much of the open lake habitat and forested habitats intergrade creating transitional zones teeming with fish, reptiles, amphibians, other wildlife, and emergent vegetation.

Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

The owner, Judy Capps, is an outstanding lady. You couldn't ask for a better hostess. She has owned Boyette's Resort for over 15 years. You'll find her to be very knowledgeable about the Reelfoot Lake area and its history.
