Bayou Lafourche Folklife and Heritage Museum

The permanent exhibit entitled "Bayou Excursion: 1910" takes visitors on an imaginary trip along picturesque Bayou Lafourche at the turn of the 19th-20th century. A visitor can view a collection of scenes that tell the story of Lafourche and its people. A composite view of Bayou Lafourche's history unfolds on the screen of an old-time panorama activated by the turn of the ship's wheel.
