19th Century Christmas

Start your holiday festivities with the charming traditions of a 19th Century Christmas! Set for the first Sunday in December in Moline, Ill., the event offers an afternoon of family-friendly activities and events in a traditional, historic setting. At the Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House, the halls will be decked with trees and trimmings and the sounds of live music will add a festive note. Holiday activities will also be held that day at the Butterworth Education Center and Deere-Wiman Carriage House, both located conveniently nearby. Holiday music is a delight for all, and children are eager to participate in make-and-take crafts and face painting while awaiting a special appearance by Santa Claus.
